ATTRACTIONS
The main attractions in the
surrounding areas are Cape Tribulation to the north, the Atherton Tablelands
to the west with the beautiful Milla Milla waterfalls and the world famous
Great Barrier Reef off the east coast.

There are
also many other attractions that you may like to visit during your
stay in Cairns. To the north of the town, there is the Daintree National
Park. |

Kuranda Scenic
Railway

To
the west is the Skyrail taking visitors to Kuranda over the top of
the Australia jungle. In Kuranda, there are markets selling local
goods and a butterfly farm. There is the option of taking the Kuranda
Scenic Railway through the hillside back into Cairns. |

Also
off the east coast of Cairns is the picturesque Green Island or Fitzroy
Island, only a short trip by boat. |

horse-riding, hot-air ballooning, bungy jumping, sky diving, snorkeling
